How we count

Counted applicant

An application with a human decision, or whose pledge due date has passed. Anyone still inside the window without a decision isn't counted yet.

An application withdrawn before its due date, with no decision and no breach, is not counted.

Answered

Decided divided by counted, rounded to a whole percent. A decision is Shortlist, Interview or Decline, clicked by a person in CV Pod. A late answer counts as answered, but the breach stays.

Average days to reply

Whole calendar days from applying to the first human decision, in the employer's registered country time, shown to one decimal place. A same-day decision counts as 0 days.

Jobs closed without a hire

The number of pod-only jobs the employer closed without marking anyone as hired. Closing a job without a hire is not a pledge breach, and it never cancels what the employer owes people already waiting.

Pledge breaches

If an applicant has no decision by their due date, a breach is written at 00:00 on the day after, in the employer's registered country time. It is permanent and always shown, even below the threshold. "Still open" means the applicant is still waiting.

Threshold

The percentage and average appear from 5 counted applicants. Below that you'll see "New on CV Pod: no reply record yet". Breaches and jobs closed without a hire always show.

Immutability

No one can edit or delete a reply record entry, including CV Pod. Paying never changes the record. The only correction we ever add is a note against a breach caused by a documented CV Pod fault, and the breach line stays.
