CV Pod

For job seekers in Australia, New Zealand and the UK

Your CV, with a real person in it.

Be seen by a person, not filtered by a machine. One link proves you're a real person, lets employers hear you in your own voice, shows proof of your work, and tells you when a human looked.

The problem

Tired of applying into silence?

Candidates now use AI to write their CVs. Employers use AI to reject them. One job draws hundreds of identical applications, and most people are turned down without speaking to anyone. Nobody can tell who is real, and nobody has to answer.

TodayA PDF goes in. A filter reads keywords. You hear nothing, and you never learn whether anyone looked.
TodayThe hiring manager wades through polished, near-identical documents with an afternoon to spare and no recruiter.
CV PodA verified person, heard in their own voice, with proof that says how it was backed. The employer has promised a human answer, and their record is public.

Inside a Pod

One link instead of a PDF.

Your Pod lives at cvpod.com/p/your-name. Make it once and send it anywhere, or apply to pod-only jobs with one click.

1

Identity

A quick ID photo and live selfie check gives you the "Verified real person" badge. Employers see the badge and your verified name. They never see your ID.

2

Voice

Three answers of about a minute each, on video or voice only, your choice. Each one is a live take with a few retries, so it's clearly you talking. A transcript appears beside each recording.

What have you actually done in your work? · Tell us about a problem you solved. · What do you want to do next?

3

Evidence

Up to five pieces of proof: links, files or photos of real work. Mark each one self-declared, or send it to a former manager to confirm with one click. "Self-declared" never looks like "Confirmed".

+

Your CV, in your own words

Plain text, no PDF needed. Beside it, one honest toggle: "AI helped me write this", yes or no. AI help is fine, as long as it's disclosed. It never counts against you.

Every claim says how it was backed.

A confirmed item names the person who clicked, their role and the date. A self-declared item says exactly that, and it's perfectly honest. A Pod with no proof at all is still a valid Pod.

If a referee declines, employers just see "Self-declared". Only you are told.

How it works

Four steps, about 20 minutes, on your phone.

  1. Sign in with a link

Type your email and we send a sign-in link. No password to remember.

  2. Show you're a real person

An ID photo and a live selfie, about three minutes. Employers only ever see the badge and your verified name.

  3. Record three answers

About a minute each, video or voice only. You get three takes per question and can preview before you keep one.

  4. Add your CV and proof

Write it the way you'd say it. Add up to five pieces of proof and ask a former manager to confirm any of them.

  5. Send your link, or apply

Share cvpod.com/p/your-name anywhere, or apply to pod-only jobs with one click. You can check each employer's reply record first.

  6. See who looked

Receipts show which company opened your Pod, when, for how long, and which recordings they played. Pause or revoke any link, any time.

CV Pod never scores or judges how you look or sound.

Who it's for

For people who look better in person than on paper.

A keyword filter is least kind to these people, and a few minutes of listening is most generous. CV Pod is free for them, always.

Portraits show the kinds of people CV Pod is built for. Named people are fictional sample personas from our prototype.

Seen by a person

You'll know when a real person looked.

Silence is the worst part of job hunting. Your receipts show which company opened your Pod, when, for how long, and which answers they played. It's never paywalled, and nobody is ranked by it.

Make a separate link for each person you send it to, and your receipts will show exactly who looked. Pausing or revoking a link takes effect within 15 seconds.

Every employer's record is public and made of plain numbers: no stars, no grades. Nobody can edit or delete an entry, including us. Employers with poor records stay listed, and you decide.

Sample records from our prototype · As at 6 Nov 2026 · Closing a job without a hire is not a pledge breach.

How we count
Counted applicant
An application with a human decision, or whose pledge due date has passed. Anyone still inside the window without a decision isn't counted yet.
Answered
Decided divided by counted, rounded to a whole percent. Harbour Bean: 5 of 6 = 83%. A late answer counts as answered, but the breach stays.
Average days to reply
Whole calendar days from applying to the first human decision, shown to one decimal place. Harbour Bean: 46.0 ÷ 5 = 9.2 days.
Threshold
The percentage and average appear from 5 counted applicants. Below that you'll see "New on CV Pod: no reply record yet". Breaches always show.
Money
Paying never changes the record, the order of applicants or anything a candidate sees.

Ask the pod

Questions used: 1 of 3

Ask about what Graham has shared. The Pod repeats their words. It doesn't judge or guess.

Marcus: What tools or systems have you used?
I don't know. Graham hasn't shared that in their Pod. We've asked them to record a reply.

Our ground rules

Five rules. They are the brand.

Each rule is backed by something the product actually does. Read how we keep them, and check for yourself.

  1. 1

CV Pod never scores, ranks or judges people with AI. It never analyses faces, voices, accents or emotion.

How it's enforced: applicant lists are ordered only by when people applied. Software does three small jobs: it matches a selfie to an ID once, writes a transcript, and quotes your own words back.

  2. 2

The candidate owns their pod, decides who sees it and can revoke it.

How it's enforced: link controls and a receipt trail. Employers can't browse Pods. They see only people who applied or sent them a link.

  3. 3

Every rejection is made by a human and comes with a reason.

How it's enforced: one person, one click, one of seven fixed reasons. No bulk decline, no auto-reject. You see who decided.

  4. 4

    Employers' reply records are public.

How it's enforced: every company page shows its numbers and its breaches. No one can edit or delete an entry, including CV Pod staff.

  5. 5

AI help is fine, as long as it's disclosed.

How it's enforced: the "AI helped me write this" yes/no sits beside your CV. It's disclosure only and never lowers anything.

Limits we're upfront about

Revoking a link can't take back what someone has already seen. The badge proves a real person at the time of the check, and we don't run deepfake detection. The reply record measures replying, not hiring fairness or workplace quality.

Pricing

Money buys access. Never placement.

Paying never buys ranking, placement, extra questions or a different reply record. CV Pod takes nothing from any hire.

Questions

The things people ask first.

Read all FAQs
Does the employer see my ID?

No. Our verification provider checks your ID photo against a live selfie once. Employers only see the "Verified real person" badge and your verified name. The provider deletes the images within 24 hours.

Do I have to be on camera?

No. Choose voice only for any answer. It gets exactly the same space and weight as video, and a transcript sits beside it either way.

What if an employer doesn't reply?

Every pod-only job carries a pledge. If the employer misses it, a breach is written to their public record and stays there. They can still reply, and you can withdraw any time.

Does a shortlist count as a reply?

Yes. Shortlist, Interview and Decline are all human decisions that meet the pledge. A decline always comes with a reason from a fixed list.
